Thomas R. Slezak, Jr., Esq.

Thomas R. Slezak, Jr. has been practicing law in the State of Nevada for over 20 years, primarily representing insurance companies, insureds and self-insureds.  In that time, he has tried numerous cases (jury and non-jury) to verdict, served as counsel in well over one hundred arbitration hearings and served as appellate counsel in cases before the Supreme Court of the State of Nevada.  He was appellate counsel in the reported case of Scott v. Zhou, 120 Nev. 571, 98 P.3d 313 (2004) before the Nevada Supreme Court.

Mr. Slezak's practice areas include personal injury defense, insurance bad faith, insurance coverage matters and construction defect litigation.  In the area of personal injury, Mr. Slezak has defended hundreds of personal injury cases over past 20+ years.  These cases have ranged from minor impact automobile cases with routine soft tissue injuries to catastrophic accidents involving the most complex and severe injuries/conditions. 

Mr. Slezak was previously the managing partner of the Las Vegas office of the San Francisco-based firm of Leach & English. 

Mr. Slezak obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Tulane University in 1990.  He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University in 1994.  He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. 

In his spare time, Mr. Slezak enjoys the outdoors, travel and spending time with his two (2) sons.
